Sample Bags
Westernex has an extensive range of sample bags of varying materials and sizes that will suit all
exploration and geology requirements.
Our bulky sample bags have the option of 4 lifting loops with a duffle top and a closed bottom which
can lift a range of 500- 1200kg.
We supply a sample bag that has a duffle top and a spout bottom which is rated from 1200 –
2000kg, and a 4Litre spout top and closed bottom with a rating of 100kg.
To round out our bulky sample bags Westernex offers a spout top and spout bottom rated 1200kg –
2000kg.
For exploration and geology sample bags that need durability for wet samples Westernex offers a
wet strength sample bag ranging in size from 75 x 125mm, 100x200mm, 150x 125mm and a wet
strength sample bag with no tin tie on this bag 75x125mm, 100x200mm, 125x250mm.
For large samples such as considerable rock or soil samples Westernex has a hession bag at a size of
350 x 825mm.
Westernex can provide second hand wool bales for miscellaneous geology and exploration
requirements.
If required Westernex can supply brown paper bag with a gusset base for extra strength.
Most of Westernex plastic sample bags are available with a large white panel to write on. These
plastic bags are available in a variety of colours including green, blue, black, yellow or clear. For
samples that contain asbestos Westernex offers a plastic sample bag with the text ‘Asbestos’.
Westernex supplies plastic self- seal sample bags that come with a white panel to write on. They
come in sizes ranging from 75mm xx50mm to 150mm – 230mm.
Westernex usually stock white WPP sample bags however we can easily obtain other colours if
required. A large number of sizes are available ranging from sizes 460mm x 760mm to 750mm x 1225 mm.
In addition Westernex supplies Bag Tie Tool with Long Handle and Bag Tie Wire Black 150mm (2000
per bundle).
